Does not interrupt and is very sensitive to others (i.e. uses supportive verbal and non-verbal language). In small groups fills role assigned and offers encouragement to others.

Rarely interrupts and is supportive of others (i.e. smiles or nods in agreement to a peer). In small groups, fills role assigned.


Sometimes interrupts, not supportive of whole class (i.e. easily distracted, rolls eyes, interrupts).  Has to be chivvied to fill role in small group.


Very distracting, behavior is not supportive of class (i.e. packs up or gets into other materials during discussion). Refuses to fulfill role, expects others to do it.
